“Toi Et Moi”
I was in France in the studio when ALV played the beat, and immediately it made me think about how if someone I got my eye on was to make a move on me, how I would react, how I would deal with it. Toi Et Moi is a French term for “you & me”, so it felt right calling it that, it’s like I don’t care who you came with, I’m on you, you’re on me, make the move, and it will be right.
“Bonjour”
As soon as I heard this, I wanted to dance and make a song that I knew would be lit for summer, you can hear this in the clubs, in the radio, or just catch a vibe playing it in the car. Bonjour means “Good Day” in France, I wanted everyone to have fun and feel good, hopefully hearing this will help them have a good day whatever they doing and wherever they are located, the energy I felt in the studio was the same energy I wanted in the video, me and my friends were able to put together a easy dance that anyone can do when they hear the track, I’m looking forward to performing this one at shows.
“Pity”
This one is for my people that know what feels like to want someone who is already taken and you’re already taken, so it’s a shame because if you wasn’t in relationships it would be different, like you got a connection and vibe with this person, but you both respect each other’s partners, so you just call it what it is and that’s why it’s a pity.
“Touch me”
So I was in the studio in Paris, Ya Levis came through, there was loads of people, guys and girls, everyone was having a good time, it was a vibe, I kind of just started free-styling and then came up with the hook, Ya levis wanted to follow my lead on the hook, then go into his verse, everything just seemed to click and the song was done in like 1hr.
“Questions”
This was another track that was made in Paris, Warren pulled up to the studio, and we just clicked straight away, the song kind of wrote itself, it’s about having questions once the relationship is over, like are we going to get back together, are we still going to be friends etc. I’m speaking French on it, it’s just a nice chilled vibe.
“Too Close”
I was with my guy Alvin in the studio in Paris, RSKO was there, the production was so melodic, RSKO went first, then I laid the hook, we went back and forth, then into my verse, I’m touching on the feelings of when you ignore someone that you know isn’t good for you, but they chasing you heavy, calling you whilst you’re asleep, but you semi like it, that’s why I’m saying don’t get too close, i don’t want you too close, if we get close it could be dangerous
“All Of You”
Again I was in Paris , this was a last minute song that we free-styled in the studio. It’s a toxic love song about me just wanting everyone, the lyric that stands out the most to me is obviously ‘all of you’, you might think it’s about wanting one person, but I want everyone, I’m in my toxic energy where I’m outside and free, I can’t be locked down.
“Experience”
As soon as I heard the beat, I knew what to do on this one, I was in London just holding a vibes in the studio, it’s me talking about what its like when you have a great experience with someone, like you know when you met that person, it’s a serious moment.
“2 Me 2 U”
I was in a rave one night, went studio after and just want to talk about what I saw, there is an art to dancing and the way someone can dance, whine/twerk, whatever you call it, it’s an art form, I love to dance, so I can respect when someone else can dance and move good, I’m also talking about my type, what I like, some star signs energy is in there too, this is another one that I want people to play in the clubs, on radio and in their cars.
“All Night”
I was in Paris, me and Ronisia had done a song before for her project, and I just felt like we should work together again, I had the verse and hook laid down, where I’m saying its nothing long, we aint got all night, less talking, more action, Ronisa came by and just killed her verse, the instrumentation section at the end is cold also, real musical ending.
“Officer”
This one is a mad true story, I was driving to a show and I was worried I was going to be late, so I’m speeding on the motorway, I get pulled over but the officer was a female who knew my music, she knew I was an artist, and she let me go with just a verbal warning, after the show I was thinking I have to go studio and right about this, so yea this one is self explanatory really haha.
“Preference”
This was my first release after dropping no music for a year, the production just knocks so heavy and it’s mellow, not a hype one, so it allowed me to just glide on it in a chilled way, not doing too much, this one was written in like 30 mins, I enjoyed making the video to this one also, go check it out.
“Party & Bullshit”
I was out with my friends and we were just having a fun time, when I’m with my friends it’s just nothing but vibes and jokes, normally other people will come around or be around us, so I’m just observing how everyone acting and vibing, enjoying themselves. I’m also saying how when I’m out, someone will be giving me the eye haha, I might entertain it but also might not, depends on the mood haha.
“Chemistry”
I feel like most people can relate to this one, you’re with someone and it’s just natural chemistry, nothing is forced, nothing is hard work, it’s effortless when you’re together, around each other and just in each other space.
